If you’re sick of Matt & Ash telling you that “the best wings in Buffalo are at Barbill,” check them out for yourself. And order the best beef on weck while you’re at it.
Pro tip: If there’s a wait, put your name on the list and have a beer or two at Brew Works next door or the Cider house across the street.

BRAND NEW cafe in a treehouse just outside EA! It has just light bites, drinks, and you can pick fresh blueberries!

A perfect, no-frills, classic diner. Get anything with their homemade bread (or homemade cinnamon bread if you love yourself).

A wonderful, spacious cafe with soups, sandwiches, and salads with East Aurora-themed names. If you see the large coffee cup outside the door on Main Street, stop on in!

Knox Farm State Park
If you prefer Ashley’s mode of exercise (a run, but often more of a brisk walk), check out Knox Farm State Park. There are plenty of trails to explore.

Vidler's 5 & Dime
Transport back into the 1950’s with this classic 5 & dime store. It feels like it goes on for miles, with every possible knick knack you could imagine inside. A childhood favorite is Sally the mechanical horse (in the candy section, and costs a nickel) and the popcorn machine (next to Sally, costs a dime).

Hamlin Park
Go for a walk to Hamlin Park and let the kids play on the playground, or bring a basketball to shoot hoops on the court, or a soccer ball to kick around in the field. Even do a dance on the amphitheater stage if you wish. The park is your oyster.

This Children’s Museum was an East Aurora gem until it outgrew its walls and found a new home on the waterfront in downtown Buffalo. It’s about a 25 minute drive, but boy is it worth it.
